Went to get my roots done two weeks ago and had a hair stylist named Fiona. I was charged $100 (before tip) just for the dye (no cut no hair dry/style or anything. I dried and straightened my own hair). Now I have very uneven gross lines in my hair and am super self conscious. They also asked if they could take a picture for their portfolio and then claimed my split dyed hair was “full service done by Fiona” when in reality she isn’t responsible for my hair style/cut or dye in any way other than the roots that are now poorly done on one side of my split dyed hair.

I had a trim and returned the following week because my I felt overwhelmed with my hair without lotions and potions. Fiona was wonderful, cutting off so much grey hair.

I have been going to Scissors Kanata for 2 years and always love the level of service and professionalism provided by Lynn. Lynn is open to any hairstyle changes and tweaks I request and executes everything beautifully! The overall team at Scissors Kanata is very welcoming and strive for customer service excellence.

I went to Scissors to get my hair professionally coloured for the first time based on a recommendation from a friend. I was referred to Cate for the colour and upon contacting Scissors, they were very quick to schedule a consultation between me and Cate. I showed Cate my vision and explained to her that I had scalp psoriasis so would prefer that the dye not touch my scalp. She said no problem! I can't tell you the level of care Cate, Janal and Angela took with my scalp. I have never experienced such care and professionalism at a salon before. I couldn't be more pleased! So here I am with vibrant colours in my hair and exactly what I wanted. Thanks to the wonderful team at Scissors for doing something I never thought could be done!

I had an appointment yesterday to have my hair coloured. I’m so glad the ladies at the front were able to fit me in with such a short notice. My stylist, Burcu did an AMAZING job, I am so so pleased with my hair. Thank you!

Great first experience here today getting my hair coloured and cut by Corinna. She is very personable and listened to what I wanted and helped me make the best choices for my hair. She did exactly what I asked for and I couldn't be happier. The latte's are an added and appreciated bonus. I've found my go-to hairstylist now, and the rates are super affordable and extremely worth the quality. My hair was a boring, flat, brown and she turned it into a gorgeous, healthy, multi-coloured ombre. Super happy! Highly recommend!
